New Qora Cladding Ashlar Drystack Combines Revolutionary Beauty, Performance and Savings for Residential and Commercial Construction

(Sugarcreek, Ohio) — January 25, 2023 — Strength, style, and affordability are beautifully combined in new, industry-first Ashlar Drystack from Qora Cladding. Engineered with proprietary technology from Arcitell, LLC to provide durability and statement-making authenticity, each patented fiber-reinforced polymer siding panel exquisitely replicates the appearance of stacked stone with narrow joints, brilliant coloring, and stunning earth tones, but with less cost and a fraction of the installation time than traditional masonry.

Ashlar Drystack debuts at the 2023 National Home Builders' Association (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS) South Hall Booth SU653, Jan. 31-Feb.2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“Ashlar Drystack is the result of years of team refinement and dedication to innovative research, development, and manufacturing processes to solve a myriad of construction project headaches. Qora Cladding may be a new brand, but the technology and companies behind it are not,” said Brian Martin, director of sales and marketing for Arcitell | Qora Cladding. “We’re confident that building professionals, contractors and homeowners alike will agree that this is a revolutionary product that captures the texture, color and variation of authentic, quarried stone -- checking all the boxes, without breaking the bank.”

Ashlar Drystack is manufactured with industry-first surfacing technology using a combined rigid foam core and a fiberglass-reinforced compound surfaced with genuine stone particles. By incorporating real materials in its manufacturing process, Qora Cladding delivers the look and feel of genuine stone, without the labor and expense often associated with masonry. The result is a lightweight, easy-to-install panelized system that is indistinguishable from real stone, at a fraction of the cost.

Each 48” wide x 18” tall Ashlar Drystack panel quickly installs using simple carpentry skills to create a seamless and natural appearance for residential and light commercial exterior accents, adding old-world quality to modern, textured surfaces, including knee wall and wainscoting applications. Available in four authentic precision crafted earth tones, including Highland, Honeybrook, Country Slate and Hoosier, Ashlar Drystack embodies the same magnetism, color, and texture of stately and distinctive stonework, but weighs hundreds of pounds less.

Ashlar Drystack is the newest offering in The Qora Cladding Collection, a looks-like-the- real-thing, complete siding system with easily interchangeable panels and accessories, including ledge sills and corners, that remove time and material complexity for a beautiful, fast finish. Qora’s durable products complement any vinyl, wood or fiber cement siding exteriors for a mix and match, customized look that homeowners can imagine and make their own – and building professionals can easily sell.

Most Qora panels weigh between two and three pounds per square foot, which is a fraction of weight of comparable traditional materials. Lighter weight cladding systems can more easily resist cracking, foundation impacts and other issues associated with heavy cladding materials. The multi-layer design and rigid foam core of Qora panels also create a natural sound inhibitor for quieter interiors, are fade and impact resistant, will not burn, rot, buckle or delaminate and are backed by a 20-year warranty.

Attendees can visit IBS Booth SU653 in the South Hall during show hours to learn about The Qora Cladding Collection and ways to boost their bottom lines, as well as enter a drawing to win a 60-inch Smart TV. Ashlar Drystack can also be seen in the IBS New Product Zone, an exclusive area located near the Qora booth, featuring building materials selected by NAHB.
